Membership vs casual jobs
What membership costs and includes, how fees on work differ for members and non-members, and how casual jobs are handled.

Anyone with a vehicle of 3 tonnes or more can call Fix My Truck. Members pay a small monthly fee per truck and pay less on every job; casual customers pay per job.
Membership
Membership is available for fleets and for single vehicles. It is charged per truck, per month, by direct debit, and the rate per truck falls as your fleet grows:

All rates include GST. Current rates are always on the membership page.
What membership includes
- 24-hour, 7-day access to our call centre team;
- incident fees waived;
- unlimited supplier, customer and client contacts;
- all call costs: inbound and outbound calls and SMS;
- call centre call costs and labour.
Fees on work for members
Members are charged 20% on all work done by suppliers. Invoices are presented within 30 days of an incident.
Keep your vehicles on our database
Members send us the details of their vehicles (or keep them up to date in the customer portal). A vehicle that is not on our database is liable for the incident fee.
Joining and leaving
Fill in the membership form and the direct debit request (both on the membership page) or send us a membership enquiry. To cancel, give us 14 days’ notice. Members agree that their credit card details are held on record.
Casual jobs
We also help drivers who are not members:
- a valid credit card is required, and strict conditions apply;
- non-members are charged 30% plus a $77.00 non-refundable non-member fee on all work done.
A casual job is closed without an account and invoiced to the casual customer.
Which is right for you?
If your vehicles break down more than occasionally, membership usually pays for itself: the incident fee is waived and the percentage on work is lower. Ask us for a quote with your fleet size.
