Send jobs straight from your systems

Fleets, assistance companies and software partners can connect to Fix My Truck. Breakdowns arrive on our dispatch desk without a phone call, and your system hears how each job is going.

What a connection does

Your system to us

  • Create a job with your own reference, naming the account (and fleet) to bill
  • Update or cancel a job you sent
  • Read a job's status and list your recent jobs

Us to your system

  • Events at your HTTPS webhook as the job progresses: for example a supplier accepting, arriving and completing
  • Every event signed, so you can check it came from us
  • Optionally, our team's messages about the job

API jobs are worked by our team exactly like phone jobs: the same dispatch, the same suppliers, the same standards. The account linked to the connection gets an API page in the customer portal with its figures.

How we set it up

  1. Step 1: Talk to us

What you will send and receive, and which accounts and fleets the jobs are billed to.

  2. Step 2: Credentials

A client ID and secret for your system, and a signing secret for our events, given to you securely, once.

  3. Step 3: Dry run

Your calls are checked and logged but create no jobs; our events are recorded, not sent, until you are ready.

  4. Step 4: Go live

Switch on when both sides are happy. We can rotate or revoke credentials at any time.

Security and control

  • Separate credentials per connection, shown once and stored encrypted
  • An optional allowlist of the addresses your system calls from, and a rate limit
  • Credentials can be rotated or revoked at once if they may have leaked
  • Every request and every event delivery is logged, so problems can be traced on both sides

The technical documentation is given to your developers when we set up your connection. To start, contact us or call 1800 349 698.
