Ratings, quality and preferred suppliers
How we rate the work on each job, what your score looks at, and how good work leads to more offers and preferred status with customers.
Updated
We rate the work on our jobs so we can send each breakdown to the supplier most likely to do it well. Good work is noticed and rewarded with more work.
How a job is rated
When the vehicle is back on the road, our team rates each supplier who accepted the job:
- 1 to 5 stars overall;
- on time or late;
- good or poor work;
- good or poor communication;
- fair or high price;
- and a note.
Your score
Your score covers the last 12 months:
- your average rating;
- how many offers you accepted, declined or didn’t answer;
- how quickly you answer offers;
- how often you arrive within your ETA (with ten minutes’ grace).
How it helps you
- Among suppliers who are equally near a breakdown, the better-rated supplier is offered the job first.
- Customers can ask for suppliers they like to be their preferred suppliers. Preferred suppliers are offered that customer’s jobs first.
The simple things that count
- Answer offers quickly, even if the answer is no.
- Give a realistic ETA, and send a new one if you are delayed.
- Report arrival and back on the road from the portal.
- Keep the driver and our team informed, and add photos.
- Quote fairly and wait for the go-ahead when the job needs approval.
If something goes wrong
Tell us. A late arrival with a call in advance is very different from a no-show. If we have repeated, serious concerns about a supplier’s work, we talk to them first; in the end we may stop offering them jobs.
