Signing in, two-step verification and resetting your password
How to sign in to the Fix My Truck portal, set up two-step verification with an authenticator app, use Google or Apple, and recover access.
Updated
The customer portal and the supplier portal share one sign-in page. Use Sign in at the top of this website.
Your first sign-in
Portal access is set up by our team. You receive an invitation email with a link to choose your password. The link works for a limited time; if it has expired, ask us for a new one.
Two-step verification
To protect your jobs, vehicles and invoices, your sign-in may require two-step verification: after your password, you enter a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone (for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password).
Setting it up (first time)
- Sign in with your email and password.
- You may be asked to confirm your email address with a code we email you.
- Scan the QR code shown with your authenticator app, then enter the code the app shows.
- You are given recovery codes. Keep them somewhere safe: each one can be used once if you lose your phone.
Signing in after that
Enter your password, then the current code from your app. Where your organisation allows it, you can have your own computer remembered, so you are not asked for a code every time on that computer.
Sign in with Google or Apple
If your organisation uses Google or Apple accounts, we can link yours to your portal user, and you can then sign in with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. Ask us to link it, and tell us the Google or Apple email address you sign in with.
Forgotten password
Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page and enter your email address. You receive a link to set a new password. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, contact us.
Lost your phone?
Use one of your recovery codes in place of the authenticator code. If you have none left, contact us: once we have confirmed who you are, we can reset two-step verification so you can set it up again on your new phone.
Too many attempts
After several wrong passwords in a row, the account is locked for a while to keep it safe. Wait and try again, or reset your password.
