Cancelling a request

The vehicle started again or the problem went away? How to cancel a job, and when a call-out fee may apply.

Updated

If you no longer need help, tell us straight away so the supplier can be stopped before they travel further.

In the customer portal

Open the job and choose Cancel, with a short reason. You can cancel until the supplier arrives at the vehicle.

  • Before a supplier has accepted: the job is simply cancelled.
  • After a supplier has accepted: the portal asks you to confirm that a call-out fee may apply, because the supplier may already be on the way. We then tell the supplier not to attend.

The job is closed as cancelled, with your reason recorded on it.

By phone

Call us on 1800 349 698 (Australia) or 0800 001 040 (New Zealand) at any time. Phoning is best when a supplier is already close, so we can reach them immediately.

After the supplier has arrived

Once a supplier is with the vehicle, the job can no longer be cancelled from the portal. Call us and we will sort out what happens next with you and the supplier.
